The 'Creatives' - Week One...

Name:
Jakub Gaudasinski
 Occupation:
Composer, producer and multi-instrumentalist

Over the next few weeks I will be introducing you to the team of creative individuals here at Slaves of the Extraordinary. Todays treat for your ears is Jakub Gaudasinski. Jakub, an established composer, producer and multi-instrumentalist, is aslo the composer behind the Slaves of the Extraordinary’s first theme ‘Love is a War’ and will also be working on the music for the Mayamiko Trust and Slaves of the Extraordinary’s catwalk show at the upcoming ‘Inspired’ event.

Jakub is currently running Desa One project studio responsible for artistic endeavors such as 'Final Configuration' - a music production and composition project and 'Desa Systems', which caters for sound programming, sound design and tool development, synthetic instrument programming, project audio, post-production engineering, technical sound processing.

Jakub's sound has been heard around the world. His fresh and imaginative approach to sound design, composition and engineering has allowed him to be part of many collaborative commercial projects with clients such as ABC Television Australia and Aurora/Foxtel. Jakub has also been involved in indipendent films and tv soundtracks, commercial single productions as well as music for a video game.

With the use of vocal percussion, esoteric instrumentation and a blend of unorthodox editing, he was able to create a unique sound with Desa Systems debut album Origin of Us. It has been described as...

"... stunning, exhilarating...an electronic 'Twilight of the Gods'"
and
"...cream of finest electronic music."

On his website he describes that 'Desa Systems takes you away into a different world and gives you a fleeting glimpse of its origin, inspired by chaos, mathematics, love and the invisible tethers that connect us all.’
